All Things Pets
Tara Lausch is owner and principal of Get Your Wag On Pet Service and All Things Pets, popular dog training and pet sitting services in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She’s also a top-notch photographer who has captured the great energy of Rehoboth Beach VegFest in terrific photo shoots. A former elementary school teacher, Tara began volunteering at the Delaware SPCA, where she realized her true passion was working with and helping animals and their human companions. In 2012, she left her teaching career and started her own dog training business. While photographing clients during training sessions for fun, adding professional photography seemed to be the next best step – so the pet photography was born and added to the mix! Tara explains: “I just LOVE capturing the heart and soul of our furry fiends and the bond between humans and their pets. Last year, I added one more additional service and purchased a local pet sitting business and so we are now truly “All Things Pets.” In her spare time, Tara fosters and photographs puppies for local rescues, organizes fundraisers for local rescues, teaches a spin class, and spends quality time with my human and furry family. Says Tara: “I am excited to be involved in the Veg Fest for yet another year. It has been an amazing event right from the start!”

Nathaniel Corn was born in Atlanta, Ga and grew up in Nashville, Tn, the son of two parents who run an environmental engineering firm. He loves veganic gardening, hiking, traveling, wine-drinking and the History Channel. Though he did not grow up vegetarian, he was raised on a several-acre vegetable farm. He fell in love with veggie food when he moved in with his wife Rissa Miller 12 years ago and has been meat-free since. As of 2016, he has been fully vegan for seven years. Environmentalism has always been part of Nathaniel’s life and his love for nature is truly a defining part of his personality. Along with Rissa, he took over producing events for Baltimore Vegan Drinks in 2012. His day job is commercial photography.
Rissa Miller was born and grew up in York, Pa. and has always been bohemian at heart. She has been vegan for 21 years. Vegan food and living echoes true in her soul and she feels at home there. Rissa has long been a greenie as well. She made a scene in high school by leading the Environmental Club to rifle through trash cans for cans and glass bottles in the lunch room, and shortly after, a recycling program was started in the district. She loves animals and doesn’t feel right if she doesn’t have an animal companion sharing her path in life. In college, Rissa studied photography and nutrition in college, and though she made a career of photography, first as a photojournalist and now as a commercial photographer, she still has a passion for nutrition and tries to keep up with all the latest research and news in the field. She is a proud co-producer for Baltimore Vegan Drinks and blogs at the dirty hippie & the bohemian girl.
Kimberly Roemer is a Salisbury-based CPA and long-time animal advocate. She has extensive experience as an animal advocate participating in tabling and volunteering with national non-profits such as Mercy For Animals, and devotes her time to helping others learn about the many reasons and benefits for choosing meat-free meals and a vegan lifestyle. As an active fencer, runner, and dancer, Kimberly continues to benefit from good health resulting from her plant based diet giving her the energy needed to explore the relatively new areas of ethical and socially responsible investing while spending her days helping her clients.
In 2014, Kimberly was the driving force for arranging the screening of the documentary film ‘The Ghosts in Our Machine’ as part of Rehoboth Beach VegFest, including bringing the film’s producer and subject into town to speak in person. Since then, the screening of a different documentary film has continued each year as a special Friday evening event on VegFest weekend.
